The Pollock Family Endowed Scholarship
A merit-based scholarship for undergraduate students in the School of Filmmaking.

This Fund was established to honor Professor Dale Pollock’s father, Henry Pollock, after his death in 2005, and represents contributions from himself and his brother, Jeffrey Pollock. Higher education meant a great deal to Henry Pollock who never finished college because of World War II. Both of his sons achieved that goal and now want to help other film students do the same.
Impact
With this support, I’ve been able to invest in essential resources—such as equipment and software—that have enhanced my skills and creative vision. It has also provided me with the freedom to dedicate more time to my filmmaking, rather than worrying about how to fund my education. This scholarship has not only helped me grow as an artist, but it has also reinforced my commitment to pursuing a career in filmmaking. –First Year Undergraduate Recipient
