Jean Cly Townsend and James E. Townsend Endowed Fund for Student Support in Design and Production
A discretionary fund to enhance the student experience, inclusive of a scholarship supporting a student studying in the School of Design and Production. Fund may be used to provide student awards, travel, guest artists, and materials for special student projects.

Established in 2012 by Jean C. Townsend and James E. Townsend to provide financial support for students in the University of North Carolina School of the Arts School of Design and Production, in the form of scholarships, student awards, student travel, and guest artist visits.
Impact
After graduating from UNCSA, I hope to work behind films and join the prosthetic entertainment industry. –Third Year Undergraduate Recipient
