Hollywood Foreign Press Association Endowed Scholarship in Filmmaking

Scholarship benefitting incoming or returning School of Filmmaking students demonstrating outstanding talent and potential.

Established by Hollywood Foreign Press Association’s Charitable Trust in 2017 to provide scholarships for students in the University of North Carolina School of the Arts School of Filmmaking. The Hollywood Foreign Press Association’s Charitable Trust (the HFPA Trust) was established to provide financial support for educational and cultural non-profit organizations whose primary focus is the entertainment industry. The HFPA Trust is the philanthropic arm of the HFPA. One of the goals of the HFPA’s funding is to nurture the development of young artists in film and television through their support for scholarships, fellowships and other support for undergraduate and graduate film schools in the United States.
