Clyde Fowler Endowed Scholarship for Design and Production

Scholarship benefitting incoming or returning Design and Production students demonstrating outstanding talent and potential, with a preference for students enrolled in the UNCSA Visual Arts Department who choose to continue studies in any area of the UNCSA Design and Production program.

Clyde Fowler was a faculty member at the University of N0rth Carolina School of the Arts in the School of Design and Production from 1975-2004 and also served as the Director of the Visual Arts Department during that time. He was awarded the status of Emeritus Faculty in 2005. In addition to his dedication to mis education and the mission ofUNCSA he was also an exhibiting artist. To express his gratitude for the many yem·s he spent on campus resulting in experiences which had such a profound impact on his professional and personal life, Clyde has established two Endowed Scholarships to recognize students in Design & Production and Visual Arts who show outstanding miistic promise and a commitment to their education.
