Claire’s years of involvement at UNCSA began before she served as co-chair of the Giannini Society for four years. A few years later she was awarded the Giannini Award. During these years, she served on the Foundation Board. In 2006, she was awarded Honorary Degree. Claire served two terms as a Trustee. At the present time, she serves on the Board of Visitors.
Impact
UNCSA has been immensely helpful in shaping my work ethic, values, and identity as a young artist. It is beautiful to walk into every classroom and know that I am deeply supported by professors who yearn to see me bloom into my fullest potential. I know that in years to come I will tell many people that this school is a foundational part of the artist I’ve become.
